Is your vehicle factory-fitted with a Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF)?
Relevant for particular model series with 2.0 TDI engine of the VW AG
In the model series of the vehicle you have selected, some vehicles have been factory-fitted with a Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) and some haven’t. The hardware and software involved in our chip tuning are, however, perfectly tuned to your engine and therefore vary depending on whether or not a DPF has been factory-fitted. The images below show you how you can look at the pump injector plug to determine whether or not a DPF has been factory-fitted. Please let us know if there are five (variant 1) or nine (variant 2) thin, colored cables that lead into the plug.

With a lengthwise installed engine, you will find the pump injector plug directly on the right-hand side of the engine.
With a traversely installed engine, you will find the pump injector plug on the back of the engine.
Please let us know how many cables lead into the pump injector plug, i.e., whether variant 1 or 2 has been installed in your engine.
