Conditions for participating in competitions

The organizer of this competition is RaceChip Chiptuning GmbH & Co. KG ("RaceChip")

The competition is not affiliated with Facebook / Instagram and is not sponsored or organized by Facebook / Instagram in any way. The recipient of the data and information provided by the participant is not Facebook / Instagram, but RaceChip Chiptuning GmbH & Co. KG. This also applies to other separate platforms.

Any questions, comments or complaints about the competition should be directed to RaceChip ([email protected]).

Participating in the competition is only possible under the terms and conditions listed here. By participating in the competition, the participant expressly accepts these terms and conditions.

RaceChip reserves the right to cancel or terminate the competition at any time.

Eligibility

Persons must be at least 18 years of age to be eligible for participation. Employees of RaceChip and their relatives are prohibited from participating.

Participation

Participation in the competition takes place through active attendance, as presented in the invitation.

Participation is not dependent on the purchase of goods and services from RaceChip. The purchase of a good or the use of a service does not increase the chances of winning.

Participation in the competition entails, in the event of a winning entry, consent to mention the first name and the first letter of the surname on RaceChip’s social media channels, e.g. Facebook and Instagram.

Profits

Material prizes are not eligible to be paid in cash and are excluded from exchange. Prizes cannot be transferred to third parties.

If the prize (RaceChip product) is not available for the winner's car, the winner will receive either a generic voucher for an equivalent RaceChip product, or an equivalent or lower value product from the RaceChip product portfolio.

Raffle

Participants in the competition will be those who answer the competition question correctly or fulfill the competition conditions. Each participant can only enter the raffle once per competition.

The winnings will be raffled among all eligible participants.

Winners will be notified by personal message on Facebook / Instagram. If the prize is not claimed within 7 days of the initial notification, the prize will be forfeited and a second winner will be drawn. An exception applies to event ticket prizes, where the event will be held earlier than the 7 days’ notice period. In such a case, the tickets will be raffled again 3 days before the event.

Data protection

Any personal data that RaceChip collects, processes and uses during the course of the raffle, is exclusively for the purpose of carrying out the raffle and is not stored past the end date of the competition. Collected personal data will also not be used for subsequent marketing promotions.

Others

Participants who violate these terms or attempt to manipulate the voting (e.g. by voting through one or more unnamed Facebook accounts or by using like-to-trade groups) may be excluded from participating in the competition. If the conditions for an exclusion exist, any delivered profits can be revoked and/or reclaimed retroactively.

Comments that violate Facebook guidelines or German law will be removed after notice without further warning. The participant will be consequently excluded from the competition.

RaceChip is entitled to cancel or suspend the competition if:

• ● During implementation, the terms of use or policies of Facebook are changed and such a competition is no longer allowed under the applicable rules of Facebook,
• ● Manipulations are detected or a proper execution of the competition is no longer ensured, especially in the event of hardware or software failures, program errors or computer viruses,
• ● Unauthorized intervention by third parties or should mechanical, technical or legal problems arise.

The participant releases Facebook and other channels from any liability.

The legal process is excluded. Only the law of the Federal Republic of Germany is applicable. Should any of these conditions of participation be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining conditions remains unaffected. These terms and conditions may be changed at any time by RaceChip without further notification.
